HEP Tech Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 126.930 million compared to TWD 145.590 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 1.128 million compared to TWD 2.309 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 3.206 million compared to TWD 1.642 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.1 compared to TWD 0.05 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 223.416 million compared to TWD 295.378 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 11.896 million compared to TWD 2.601 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 4.558 million compared to TWD 5.467 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.15 compared to TWD 0.18 a year ago.
Hep Tech Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research and development, manufacture and sales of electric light source driving components. The Company's main products include electronic ballasts, electronic transformers and light emitting diode (LED) drivers. The Company's products are applied in electric light sources such as halogen lamps, fluorescent lamps, mercury lamps, metal halide lamps, high pressure sodium lamps and LED lamps, among others.
