Hep GmbH agreed to acquire HEP Engineering GmbH from HEP Tech Co., Ltd. (GTSM:3609) and others on August 12, 2015. HEP Engineering GmbH will dissolve after merger. The transaction is expected to complete on August 31, 2015.

Hep Tech Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research and development, manufacture and sales of electric light source driving components. The Company's main products include electronic ballasts, electronic transformers and light emitting diode (LED) drivers. The Company's products are applied in electric light sources such as halogen lamps, fluorescent lamps, mercury lamps, metal halide lamps, high pressure sodium lamps and LED lamps, among others. The Company distributes its products within Taiwan and to overseas markets, including the rest of Asia, Europe and the Americas.
