HELIO SA reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and year ended June 30, 2015. For the year, the company reported net revenues from sales of products, goods and materials of PLN 98,822,000 compared to PLN 104,239,000 a year ago. Profit from operational activity was PLN 3,051,000 compared to PLN 5,152,000 a year ago. Profit before tax was PLN 2,448,000 compared to PLN 4,911,000 a year ago. Net profit was PLN 1,954,000 compared to PLN 3,949,000 a year ago. Net cash flows from operating activities were PLN 715,000 compared to cash flows used in operating activities of PLN 683,000 a year ago. Profit for one ordinary share was PLN 0.39 compared to PLN 0.79 a year ago. Book value for one share was PLN 10.14 against PLN 9.75 a year ago. Profit on business activities was PLN 2,448,000 against PLN 4,911,000 a year ago. Acquirement of intangible assets and tangible fixed assets was PLN 2,102,000 compared to PLN 733,000 a year ago.
For the quarter, the company reported net revenues from sales of products, goods and materials of PLN 15,903,000 compared to PLN 18,138,000 a year ago. Loss on operational activity was PLN 1,134,000 compared to PLN 461,000 a year ago. Loss on business activities was PLN 1,377,000 against PLN 169,000 a year ago. Net loss was PLN 1,193 compared to PLN 169 a year ago. Loss for one ordinary share was PLN 0.24 compared to PLN 0.03 a year ago. Net cash flows from operating activities were PLN 16,327,000 compared PLN 9,337,000 a year ago. Acquirement of intangible assets and tangible fixed assets was PLN 374,000 compared to PLN 104,000 a year ago.
Helio SA is a Poland-based company engaged in the confection, import and distribution of dried fruits, nuts, seeds and grains, as well as manufacturing of poppy seed products. The Companyâs products are offered under three brands, including Helio, Sloneczne Owoce, and Helio Gold. The Company also sales its products in chain store brand names, such as, Auchan, Biedronka, Carrefour, EKO Holding, E.Leclerc, Intermarche, Makro Cash & Carru, Netto,, Piotr I Pawel, Real and Tesco stores. In addition the Company offers dried fruits and nuts in bulk. Its main customers include domestic chain stores, food wholesalers and retail stores.
