Ford Motor Co. president and CEO James "Jim" Farley Jr., will join the Harley-Davidson Inc. board of directors, filling a slot being vacated by Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. chairman and CEO Brian Niccol. Niccol, who joined Harley-Davidson's board in 2016, informed the company "that he did not desire to stand for reelection" at Harley's annual meeting on May 20, 2021. Farley, 58, has been president and CEO of Ford since October 2020 and serves on the automotive company's board. He previously was chief operating officer and earlier executive roles included president of new business, technology and strategy and executive vice president and president of global markets. Farley also represents Ford on the U.S.-China Business Council Board of Directors and has been appointed co-chair of the Future of Mobility Commission.
