Hammerson has announced that NEXT is to open its new Beauty & Home store at the Oracle, Reading on Thursday. The opening is part of the expansion of NEXT's beauty business, which will see it open four new 'Beauty & Home' stores across the UK.

With a total of four 'new concept' stores opening this season; the Next Beauty and Home Reading Store will open its doors on Thursday 3rd December at 11am. The Reading Store will stock a wide variety of skincare, make-up and fragrance and host premium brands including; Chanel, YSL, Bare Minerals, Benefit, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Kiehls, Lancome, Too Faced, Urban Decay alongside many more. The store will also offer a range of premium beauty services.

NEXT currently sells over 250 beauty brands on next.co.uk and recognised the opportunity to develop an extensive premium Beauty business after a successful online collaboration with Fabled by Marie Claire, which launched Beauty on next.co.uk in October 2018. Fabled by Marie Claire was then acquired by Next in July 2019.

The aim of the new stores is to create a premium retail environment for Beauty, to complement the offer NEXT already carries through its Online Beauty business. Alongside this NEXT's well-loved Home and Lingerie collections will be available within the new stores; which will further expand the lifestyle offer available to the local Next customer.

Mark Bourgeois, Hammerson Managing Director UK & Ireland, said: 'Across our portfolio, we're always looking for opportunities to introduce something innovative and exciting to our destinations, whether that's a new store concept or brand. We're delighted to have collaborated with the NEXT team in delivering this Beauty & Home store which will really complement the broader offer at the Oracle, particularly in the run up to Christmas.'

Simon Wolfson, NEXT's Chief Executive said: 'This is an exciting opportunity to work with existing and new beauty brand partners to create a new force in beauty retailing - bringing our Online business to life through premium store environments in some of the UK's most important retail locations.'
