Glencore PLC on Wednesday reaffirmed guidance for 2022, and said its operations in 2021 performed in line with expectations.

The Anglo-Swiss commodity mining and trading company said guidance for this year remains unchanged from the investor update in December.

Glencore said its copper production fell 5% to 1.20 million metric tons last year, while production of cobalt rose 14%, zinc was down 4%, nickel declined 7% and ferrochrome increased 43%. Coal output dropped 3% to 103.3 million tons.

"Overall, our operations largely performed in line with guidance expectations," Chief Executive Gary Nagle said.
