Gencor Industries, Inc. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was USD 22.940 million compared to USD 18.848 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 2.014 million compared to USD 1.398 million a year ago. Net income was USD 4.322 million compared to USD 2.444 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.3 compared to USD 0.17 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.29 compared to USD 0.17 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was USD 66.963 million compared to USD 66.845 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 7.274 million compared to USD 10.016 million a year ago. Net income was USD 6.156 million compared to USD 10.217 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.42 compared to USD 0.7 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.42 compared to USD 0.69 a year ago.
Gencor Industries, Inc. is a diversified heavy machinery manufacturer for the production of highway construction materials and equipment and environmental control machinery and equipment used in a variety of applications. The Company's products include asphalt pavers, hot mix asphalt plants, combustion systems and fluid heat transfer systems. The Company also manufactures related asphalt plant equipment, including hot-mix storage silos, fabric filtration systems, cold feed bins and other plant components. Its Hetherington and Berner (H&B) product line is an asphalt plant line. It manufactures combustion systems, which are large burners that can transform solid, liquid or gaseous fuels into usable energy, or burn multiple fuels, alternately or simultaneously. The Company manufactures asphalt pavers under the Blaw-Knox brand. It manufactures the Hy-Way Heat and Beverley lines of thermal fluid heat transfer systems and specialty storage tanks for various industry uses.
