Sexton Media Group agreed to acquire Neosho Daily News and Aurora Advertiser from Gannett Co., Inc. (NYSE:GCI) on July 28, 2021. Post completion of the transaction, sexton will merge News-Dipatch with Neosho Daily News and change the current office location from Harmony Street to Main Street in Neosho. The transaction is expected to close on September 1, 2021. Dirks, Van Essen & Murray acted as financial advisor for Gannett.
