FueTrek Co., Ltd. (TSE:2468) agreed to acquire 77.5% stake in Media Research, Inc. from Masahiro Yoshino, Masako Yoshino, 11 individuals and 1 business corporation for approximately ¥400 million on September 12, 2014. As reported, FueTrek will acquire 1,550 shares of Media Research. FueTrek will acquire 29.8% stake from Masahiro Yoshino, 18.4% stake from Masako Yoshino and remaining for other 12 shareholders. Media Research reported net assets of ¥249 million, total assets of ¥454 million, sales of ¥1.38 billion, operating profit of ¥13 million, current profit of ¥6 million and net income of ¥4 million for the year ended December 31, 2013. The transaction is expected to close on October 1, 2014.
