Description (Please provide a detailed description of the event in the box below)	Fraser and Neave, Limited (the "Company") attaches for information , the Notice of Transaction in Shares of Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company ("Vinamilk") dated 7 April 2017 and issued by F&N Dairy Investments Pte Ltd ("F&NDI") to the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange ("HOSE") in connection with the proposed acquisition by F&NDI of up to an additional 14,514,530 Vinamilk shares, representing approximately 1% of the issued share capital of Vinami lk (the "Additional Vinamilk Shares" and the proposed acquisition of the Add itional Vinamilk Shares, the "Transaction") which was announced by the HOSE today. F&NDI and F&NBev Manufacturing Pte. Ltd., both wholly-owned subsidiaries of the Company , currently hold approximately 15.69% and 2.7% in the issued share capital of Vinamilk respectively. The Company wishes to emphasise that the Notice of Transaction relates only to F&NDl's intention to acquire the Additional Vinamilk Shares and there is no certainty or assurance that the Transaction wil l materialise.
