(Alliance News) - Franchi Umberto Marmi Sp announced Monday that total revenues as of Dec. 31, 2022 were EUR75.8 million, up 16 percent, compared to the same period last year, with a significant increase in sales in Italy, the Middle East and the United States.

In particular, as of December 31, 2022, sales realized in Italy increased by 8% compared to the same period in 2021, reaching EUR29.4 million, accounting for 39% of total sales for the period.

Of note is the strong jump in sales realized in the Middle East, which reached EUR12.9 million as of December 31, 2022, with an increase over the same period in 2021 of 154%, accounting for about 17% of total sales for the period.

Sales in the United States, as of December 31, 2022, showed significant growth of 23% over the same period in 2021, reaching EUR7.7 million.

In China, the result achieved as of December 31, 2022, was broadly in line with the same period in 2021, with sales of EUR15 million, down 2 percent from 2021.

"The important results obtained in terms of increased sales in the domestic market and especially in international markets confirm the solidity and goodness of the company's business strategy focused on the presidium of international markets and on high-end Carrara Marble products, such as Calacatta and Statuario," FUM explained in a note.

FUM on Monday ended 1.1 percent in the red at EUR9.30 per share.
