First Fidelity Leasing Modaraba is engaged in the business of leasing, musharaka and murabaha financing, equity investment and other related business. Its segments include Murabaha finances, which is engaged in the sale of goods under Murabaha arrangements, and Ijarah Finances, which is engaged in giving the right to the benefit of using an asset for consideration. Its services include Murabaha, which is a contract in which the client requests the Modaraba to purchase for him a certain commodity at a specific cash price with a written promise to purchase such commodity from the Modaraba at an agreed price, including profit margin called mark up and Ijara (leasing) financing, the contract takes the form of an order by the Client (Lessee) to the Modaraba, requesting the Modaraba to purchase vehicle, plant and machinery, office equipment, furniture and fixture, and office buildings, among others, promising at the same time, to get it leased from the Modaraba after it has been purchased.
