Mirko de Falco joins Farmacosmo board of directors.

(Alliance News) - Farmacosmo Spa has announced that the board of directors has co-opted Mirko de Falco as a new nonexecutive director.

In addition to the chairman and CEO, Fabio de Concilio, and de Falco, the board comprises Alessandro Maiello and independent directors Maurizio Altini and Doroty de Rubeis.

Fabio de Concilio commented, "With the entry of De Falco, the board of Farmacosmo acquires a highly qualified and experienced professional figure in a business vertical that is very important to us: the pharma world. Already a shareholder of Farmacosmo, de Falco will now be able to contribute to the development of the company."

The board of directors also approved the adoption of the whistleblowing procedure in compliance with regulatory requirements.

"The company, which has always been sensitive to ethical issues and the proper conduct of its business, has equipped itself with a whistleblowing system to enable individuals identified by law to report violations of national or EU regulatory provisions that harm the public interest or the integrity of the public administration or private entity, of which they have become aware in a public or private work context."

Pharmacosmo is up 0.9 percent to EUR0.68 per share.
