Fairfax India Holdings Corporation announced that it has received $350 million in funding from Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited, OMERS Administration Corp.

On January 13, 2017, Fairfax India Holdings Corporation closed the transaction. Existing investors, Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited owned 1.1% before the transaction and now owned total of 13,562,864 subordinate voting shares, representing approximately 11.5% of the issued and outstanding shares and OMERS Administration Corp. owned 4.46% before the transaction and now owned total of 20,363,574 subordinate voting shares representing 17.34% of the class.

The shares issued in this transaction will represent 23.28% stake in the company.
