CLINTON, Ill. (June 15, 2017) - Exelon Generation operators returned Clinton Power Station to full power Tuesday following repairs to a system that delivers water to the reactor.

Operators removed the nuclear unit from service Saturday to allow technical experts to make repairs. The unit came back came back online Monday at 6:18 p.m.

Clinton Station is located approximately six miles east of Clinton. The plant produces 1,069 megawatts at full power - enough electricity to power about 1 million typical homes. Join us on Twitter and You Tube.
