Europlasma announced on Wednesday that its subsidiary Les Forges de Tarbes had received a new "historic" order worth a total of more than 15 million euros.

The specialist in pollution control specifies that the agreement covers the supply in 2024 of nearly 60,000 large-caliber parts used in the manufacture of shells.

This is the largest contract concluded by the subsidiary since the sale of Les Forges de Tarbes by GIAT Industries.

This new contract is based on the gradual deployment of new production capacities planned at the Tarbes site.

Europlasma plans to increase its annual capacity from 40,000 parts in 2023 to 120,000 in 2024.

By 2025, Les Forges de Tarbes should have a production capacity of 160,000 parts per year.

Europlasma's share price climbed 11% on Wednesday on the Paris stock exchange following this announcement.
