Dorman Products, Inc. Announcement of Acquisition of Ingalls Engineering, Co.
COLMAR, PENNSYLVANIA (January 6, 2017) - For over 30 years, Ingalls Engineering has designed, engineered, and produced premium quality chassis, steering, suspension and alignment components in the Aftermarket and OEM replacement segments. Ingalls offers many strengths that seamlessly integrate into Dorman's approach to product development; such as in-house engineering, innovative research and development, prototype testing capabilities and advanced electronic cataloging.
As a result of this acquisition, Dorman will deliver the broadest chassis offering in today's Aftermarket. Dorman's full line of Control Arms and chassis products will now be complemented by the addition of Ingalls Engineering chassis SKUs such as Ball Joints, Tie Rod Ends and other alignment products.
The acquisition of Ingalls Engineering reflects Dorman's commitment to Aftermarket leadership in the Chassis and Suspension categories. I am excited for the future opportunities presented by this new partnership and Dorman looks forward to delivering them to you and your customers.
