Dialog Axiata PLC Reports Earnings Results for the Third Quarter and Nine Months Ended September 30, 2021

Dialog Axiata PLC reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was LKR 36,861.96 million compared to LKR 30,470.59 million a year ago. Net income was LKR 5,409.18 million compared to LKR 4,796.58 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was LKR 0.66 compared to LKR 0.59 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was LKR 104,791.28 million compared to LKR 87,894.23 million a year ago. Net income was LKR 12,473.98 million compared to LKR 8,596.77 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was LKR 1.52 compared to LKR 1.06 a year ago.
Dialog Axiata PLC and its subsidiaries provide communication services, such as mobile, fixed, broadband, international gateway services; telecommunication infrastructure services, such as tower infrastructure and transmission services; media, such as digital television services based on multiple media- satellite, cable, terrestrial; digital services, including but not limited to digital commerce mobile and eCommerce; electronic payments, including mobile payment; digital health, education, navigation and enterprise services and financial services; software solutions, data center services, manpower services, provision of Information Technology and venture capital investment activities. It operates in three segments: mobile operation, fixed telephony and broadband operation and television operation.
