Deutsche Bank today announced the appointment of Samuel Kim as Chief Country Officer (CCO) of South Korea. He takes over from Sungeun (SE) Ahn who will be leaving the bank after more than 10 years, to pursue other opportunities.

Sam joined Deutsche Bank in September 2023 as Chairman of Mergers and acquisitions (M&A), Asia Pacific, a role which he will continue in addition to being CCO of Korea. He will shortly relocate from Hong Kong to Seoul.

Hyun-Nam Park, who has been instrumental in driving the bank's Fixed Income and Corporate Bank businesses in Korea, will continue in her role as Deutsche Bank Korea Branch Manager. She will work closely with Sam on achieving Deutsche Bank's high ambitions for our local business.
