(Alliance News) - Defence Tech Holding Spa announced Monday that shareholders have decided to expand the board to seven members, allowing Valerio Veronesi and Pietro Forgione to join.

As the company explains, the expansion of the board is aimed at strengthening the company by bringing in additional key cross-functional and cyber expertise, enhancing the group's capabilities with a more structured management set-up with respect to new market opportunities and those arising from the macro-trends of the reference sectors in which the company operates.

Emilio Gisondi, CEO of the Defence Tech group, commented, "We proudly announce today the entry of two new members to our board of directors as Valerio Veronesi, an entrepreneur with vast experience and multiple institutional positions who needs no introduction, and Pietro Forgione, a deep connoisseur of the cyber sector and its innovative trends. I am sure that their entry will help make Defence Tech even more receptive to the challenges that the market will throw at us."

Defence Tech Holding's stock is up 0.9 percent at EUR4.40 per share.
