Dai Nippon Toryo Company, Limited (TSE:4611) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 300,000 shares, representing 1.04% of its share capital, for ¥500 million. The company will repurchase its shares in order to enable the implementation of a flexible capital policy which responds to changes in the business environment, along with aiming to improve its share value. The share repurchase program will run until December 20, 2018. As of March 31, 2018, the company had 28,891,072 shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) and 819,606 shares in treasury.
Dai Nippon Toryo Co Ltd is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture of paint, fluorescent color materials and lighting equipment. The Company operates in four business segments. The Domestic Paint segment is involved in the purchase, manufacture, sale and toning processing of paint in domestic market. The Overseas Paint segment involves in the manufacture, sale and purchase of paint in overseas market.
