Cuentas Inc. (NasdaqCM:CUEN) agreed to acquire an unknown majority interest in CuentasMAX LLC from WaveMAX Corporation and Execon Smart Solutions LLC on December 15, 2022. Under the terms of the transaction, Cuentas will pay the purchase price in cash. Cuentas already owns 50% interest in CuentasMAX and now it will gain majority control by acquiring unknown stake from it's joint venture partners WaveMAX Corporation and Execon Smart Solutions LLC.
The transaction is subject to board approval.
