Comtrend Corporation announced that its next generation PG-9141 HomePlug AV solution will be used by Chunghwa Telecom, for delivering IPTV services in consumer homes. The PG-9141 is a wall mount adapter that plugs into the electrical outlets inside the home and delivers HD quality video across electrical wiring. The selection of the Comtrend solution followed a rigorous product evaluation process, in which the Comtrend PG-9141 HomePlug AV power line adapters passed acceptance tests and met Chunghwa's set of technical requirements.
