Safe S.p.A. entered into an agreement to acquire Clean Energy Compression Corp. from 08804808 B.C. Ltd. and Clean Energy Fuels Corp. (NasdaqGS:CLNE) on November 26, 2017. Under the terms, Safe and Clean Energy Compression will merge to form a new company referred to as “Compressor Ventures”. Landi Renzo will own the 51% of Compressor Ventures with the remaining 49% being held by Clean Energy Fuels. Clean Energy Compression generated revenues of approximately $34.8 million in 2016. Compressor Ventures will be headquartered in San Giovanni Persiceto and will be led by Cristiano Musi as the Chief Executive Officer and Andrew J. Littlefair will be appointed non-executive Chairman. Compressor Ventures will haveseven Board of Directors, out of which four will be appointed by Landi Renzo. The closing of the transaction and Compressor Ventures will become operational from the beginning of January, 2018. Safe S.p.A. completed the acquisition of Clean Energy Compression Corp. from 08804808 B.C. Ltd. and Clean Energy Fuels Corp. (NasdaqGS:CLNE) on December 29, 2017.
