(Alliance News) - The board of directors of Class Editori Spa on Friday approved the parent company's draft financial statements and consolidated financial statements for the year 2023. The consolidated net profit is EUR1.86 million compared to a profit of EUR18.1 million as of December 31, 2022.

It should be noted that the operating figures are shown net of the effects of the maneuver concluded in 2022 with credit institutions.

Consolidated revenues for 2023 were EUR88.67 million, up 9.5 percent from EUR80.99 million in 2022. Operating expenses for the year were EUR72.84 million compared to EUR75.65 million in 2022.

EBITDA was EUR15.83 million compared to EUR5.34 million in FY2022.

Operating income is positive at EUR5.51 million compared to a negative minus EUR14.80 million in the previous year.

The actual net financial position of the publishing house shown in the financial statement shows a negative balance of EUR33.38 million as of December 31, 2023 compared to EUR23.99 million as of December 31, 2022.

Class Editori closed Friday's session in the red by 0.8 percent at EUR0.095 per share.
