CITIC Limited is a diversified group organized around 6 areas of activity: - financial services (39.2% of revenues); - manufacturing of special steel (21.1%): bearing steel, spring steel, non-welded steel tubes, etc. primarily for the automotive, aeronautic, energy and petrochemistry sectors; - exploration and production of crude oil, coal and iron ore (16.8%); - engineering services (4.1%): for the sector of housing and infrastructure construction; - development and promotion of real estate assets (1.1%); - other (17.7%): telecommunication services, manufacturing of vehicle engines, food and consumer products distribution, etc. Revenues are distributed geographically as follows: Hong Kong and Macau (8.2%), China (80.3%) and other (11.5%).
