Chuo Spring Co.,Ltd. Receives New Orders Awarded for Chassis Springs as Main Products

Chuo Spring Co. Ltd. announced that it was newly awarded by Mazda Motor Co. Ltd. and Honda Motor Co. Ltd. for the "Stabilizer" chassis spring used for the foot of automobiles. This product is an important component that enhances driving safety during car curves. Its high performance and quality have been highly evaluated, leading to the adoption of this product this time. It was the first chassis spring business from Mazda Motor Co. Ltd. in the past 18 years as mass production basis. In line with the acquisition of orders, they will establish a new production line at the Fujioka Plant (Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture) and at the 100% subsidiary's Nagasaki Chuhatsu Co. Ltd. (Nagasaki Prefecture), and will establish a production system in line with the supply in January 2022. In addition, they expanded domestic business as overseas business and acquired an order from Honda Motor Co. Ltd. at CHUHASTU (THAILAND) Co. Ltd. This is scheduled to start production in October 2021. In the chassis spring business in Thailand, they have decided to further expand sales in the future, and plan to gradually increase capacity.
