China Wire & Cable Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2022. For the first quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 655.35 million compared to TWD 672.76 million a year ago. Revenue was TWD 706.64 million compared to TWD 738.42 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 44.82 million compared to TWD 77.33 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.28 compared to TWD 0.49 a year ago. CHINA WIRE & CABLE CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of wires and cables, aluminum doors and windows and aluminum curtain walls. Its wires and cables include overhead transmission and distribution heat resisting aluminum wires, industrial aluminum wires and insulated cables and wires, among others. Its aluminum doors and windows include sound insulation doors and windows and sliding doors of SCHUCO series and TOSTEM series.
