China Wire & Cable Co., Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2018. For the third quarter, the company announced that sales revenue was TWD 686.834 million compared to TWD 776.959 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was TWD 100.309 million compared to TWD 121.641 million a year ago. Total diluted earnings per share were TWD 0.63 compared to TWD 0.77 a year ago. Net operating income was TWD 88.034 million compared to TWD 91.276 million a year ago. Profit from continuing operations before tax was TWD 119.192 million compared to TWD 132.452 million a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations were TWD 119.192 million compared to TWD 132.452 million a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 1,673.473 million compared to TWD 1,881.147 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 113.102 million compared to TWD 240.826 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.71 compared to TWD 1.53 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.71 compared to TWD 1.52 a year ago.
