China Television Company, Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 199.389 million compared to TWD 192.241 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 22.160 million compared to TWD 37.066 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 5.770 million compared to TWD 18.913 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.04 compared to TWD 0.13 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 560.236 million compared to TWD 525.602 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 84.770 million compared to TWD 157.457 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 34.504 million compared to TWD 104.822 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.23 compared to TWD 0.7 a year ago.
China Television Co., Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the provision of television advertising services. The Companyâs primary business includes the provision of television (TV) advertisement broadcasting services, the publishing and issuing of broadcasting news and programs, the copyright distribution of channels and digital programs, the operation of office websites, the distribution of advertising, as well as the provision of integrated marketing solution services. The Company is also involved in the provision of leasing services of studio equipment, sets and props. The Company operates its businesses primarily in Taiwan market.
