Chien Shing Harbour Service Co. , Ltd reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 531.52 million compared to TWD 576.36 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 53.46 million compared to TWD 9.26 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.61 compared to TWD 0.11 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.55 compared to TWD 0.11 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 1,049.97 million compared to TWD 1,117.19 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 137.01 million compared to TWD 72.76 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.56 compared to TWD 0.84 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.39 compared to TWD 0.78 a year ago.
Chien Shing Harbour Service Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the provision of integrated logistics solutions. The Company is mainly engaged in logistics services such as customs declaration, warehousing, transportation, bulk cargo terminal loading and unloading, inland container terminal and air cargo terminal. The Company provides customs declaration services for import and export of goods and also provides transportation services such as flatbed transportation, container transportation and bulk cargo transportation. The warehousing business includes bonded warehouse leasing, general warehouse leasing, free trade port area storage and transportation center and land container terminal operation in Taichung Port area. The ship loading and unloading industry provides bulk cargo loading and unloading services such as pulp, coal, scrap iron, copper soil, silica sand, hearth stone, ore mud and other bulk cargo.
