Chia Ta World Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2018. For the third quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 232.468 million compared to TWD 189.808 million a year ago. Sales was TWD 232.770 million compared to TWD 191.017 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 5.004 million compared to TWD 9.951 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.06 compared to TWD 0.12 a year ago.
For the nine months, total revenue was TWD 621.702 million compared to TWD 572.335 million a year ago. Sales was TWD 623.466 million compared to TWD 574.381 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 12.749 million compared to TWD 18.333 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.16 compared to TWD 0.23 a year ago.
Chia Ta World Co., Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacturing, processing and distribution of steel wires and cables. The Company's product portfolio consists of general steel wires, galvanized steel wires, pre-stressed concrete steel wires and strands, pre-stressed concrete steel bars, as well as galvanized and ungalvanized steel wire strands. Its wire and cable products are applied in power cables, telecommunication overhead lines, packaging wires, steel cables, spring beds, shops equipment, bridges, ships, utility poles and others. The Company distributes its products in Taiwan, the rest of Asia, the Americas and other markets.
