Chart Industries, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was USD 897.9 million compared to USD 412.1 million a year ago. Net income was USD 3.4 million compared to USD 41.2 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.06 compared to USD 1.15 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.05 compared to USD 0.98 a year ago. Its Cryo Tank Solutions segment supplies bulk, microbulk and mobile equipment used in the storage, distribution, vaporization, and application of industrial gases and certain hydrocarbons. Its Heat Transfer Systems segment supplies engineered equipment and systems used in the separation, liquefaction, and purification of hydrocarbon and industrial gases. Its Specialty Products segment supplies products used in specialty end-market applications, including hydrogen, liquid natural gas, biofuels, carbon capture, food and beverage, aerospace, lasers, cannabis and water treatment, among others.
