On March 31, 2020, The Charles Schwab Corporation announced that it has filed a definitive proxy statement soliciting proxies and urged the shareholders to vote against the shareholder proposal, requesting the Board of Directors adopt and enforce a policy requiring the Company to disclose annually its EEO-1 data – a comprehensive breakdown of its workforce by race and gender according to 10 employment categories – on its website or in its corporate responsibility report, beginning in 2020. Scott M. Stringer added that he encourages the Company to also release its workforce pay data, broken down by race and gender, which it now provides to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), submitted by Scott M.
