Carnival Corp. & plc announced two more cruise ships for its massive fleet. The company says it signed a memorandum of agreement with Fincantieri to build the vessels for its Holland America Line and Princess Cruises brands. The cruise ship for the Holland America brand is slated to be delivered 2021 and its Princess Cruises line ship is expected by 2022. The yet-unnamed ship slated for Holland America will hold 2,660 passengers, and will be the third "Pinnacle" class cruise ship for the line. Holland America's previously announced ships, the ms Koningsdam and Nieuw Statendam, are scheduled for delivery in November 2018. The new ship for Princess Cruises will hold 3,660 passengers and will be the line's sixth "Royal" class ship. Like Holland America, Princess also has other previously announced ships joining the brand, including the Majestic Princess, scheduled for delivery in March 2017, as well as its sister ships - two yet-to-be-named vessels being built by Fincantieri. They're scheduled for delivery in 2019 and 2020.
