FOND DU LAC, Wis. - The Wisconsin State Senate adjourned its Jan. 22 session by honoring Mercury Marine for celebrating 75 years in business. The company, with world headquarters in Fond du Lac, Wis., was founded on Jan. 22, 1939, in Cedarburg, Wis., and is celebrating its 75th anniversary throughout the year.

Senator Richard Gudex, Fond du Lac, made the motion with unanimous consent to honor Mercury Marine.

"The 75th anniversary reflects their strong heritage of innovation and leadership in the marine industry and their strong roots right here in Wisconsin," Gudex said of Mercury Marine.
