IRVINE, Calif. (AP) _ Boot Barn Holdings Inc. (BOOT) on Thursday reported fiscal third-quarter net income of $69.2 million.

The Irvine, California-based company said it had profit of $2.27 per share. Earnings, adjusted for pretax gains, came to $2.23 per share.

The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $2.26 per share.

The Western apparel and footwear retailer posted revenue of $485.9 million in the period, matching Street forecasts.

Boot Barn shares have dropped 23% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $94.92, an increase of 68% in the last 12 months.
