BMMI B.S.C. Alosra supermarket's Shop and Win campaign ended recently, with the announcement of the mega winner of the USD 10,000 cash grand prize, in addition to the 73 winners of daily cashback vouchers.
The campaign, which ran from November 20, 2021, to January 30, 2022, provided the opportunity for one lucky winner each day of the campaign to win a cash back voucher equivalent to their shopping bill when they shopped for an amount of BD5 or above. Participants were also entered into the grand prize draw for the chance to win USD10,000.
The grand prize draw took place on February 3, 2022, through an automated random draw of entries under the supervision of a representative from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism. Mrs. Lisa Woolley announced as the winner of the USD10,000 cash grand prize.
"I always enjoy shopping in Alorsa, Amwaj," said Mrs Woolley. "The staff are always extremely helpful and friendly, and they stock everything I need - all in one convenient place. I particularly like the range of healthy choices, 'free-from' range and specialist food products, along with the fresh foods, including vegetables, fruit and salad!"
In addition to the grand prize, 73 winners of the daily cashback vouchers also benefited from the campaign, receiving vouchers equivalent to their shopping bill, up to BD100.
Expressing gratitude to customers was at the heart of the Shop and Win campaign, said Jaffar Al Asfoor, Alosra's General Manager.
