QUARTER REVIEW
Blue Diamonds Jewellery Worldwide PLC announced today its unaudited financial results for the three months period October to December 2022.
The company's revenue for the October to December 2022 quarter was Rs.12.9 million, an increase of Rs.7.2 million over the second quarter of the 2022-2023 financial year and Rs. 4.7 million over the October to December 2021 quarter. We are pleased to note the profit of almost Rs.05 million, a significant achievement from the loss of Rs.10.4 million in the July to September 2022 quarter. The company continues to maintain tight controls and focus on export orders.
Further, the company has secured a capital investment into the company through a private placement, approved by shareholders, as the first of many steps it is taking in order to overcome the emphasis on going concern matter, improve cash flows and promote positive revenue growth. The details of the placement can be found in Note.4 and in the published circulars and announcements.
We look forward to the 2023 year, as it promises to be one of great potential.We thank our shareholders for their continued support.
