With gains of over 7%, the Bio-UV share stood out on the Paris Bourse on Wednesday, following the completion of several projects at last week's Pollutec trade show in Lyon.

In a press release, the specialist in ultraviolet (UV) water treatment emphasized that this edition of the environment and energy trade show was marked by several firm orders.

The company won a contract from a medical laboratory for 30 UV systems for water disinfection, following on from the first 60 units already delivered since the beginning of the year for the same company.

In addition, a major group specializing in pollution control and waste treatment confirmed an initial order for one of its sites in the Sarthe region, a signature that could be followed by further orders.

The months of September and October also saw the completion of projects on the Côte d'Azur and in Monaco, both in wastewater treatment and in the disinfection of swimming pools, public ponds and fountains for high-end property developers, continues the group.

On the Basque Coast, a methanization plant will benefit from a UV device for the reprocessing of purified wastewater, it adds.
