BGF Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was KRW 38,181.76 million compared to KRW 34,259.01 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 11,757.12 million compared to KRW 17,388.93 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 123 compared to KRW 148 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was KRW 123 compared to KRW 182 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was KRW 98,050.4 million compared to KRW 83,156.58 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 44,587.52 million compared to KRW 25,758.15 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 205 compared to KRW 241 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was KRW 466 compared to KRW 269 a year ago.
BGF Co Ltd, formerly BGF Retail Co Ltd, is a Korea-based holding company mainly engaged in the investment business. The Company operates its business through four segments. The Investment Business segmentâs main revenues are brand usage revenue from users of the BGF brand, management support service revenue through business services, and dividend revenue and rental revenue received from subsidiaries. The Golf Course Business segment engages in the operation of golf courses. The Advertisement and Delivery Business segment engages in digital signage advertisement business, business messaging business, mobile gift certificate business and cash receipt business, and provides convenience store delivery service. The Other Business segment engages in online food sales business, worker dispatch and commissioned operation business, eco-friendly product manufacturing and processing sales business, and other plastic product manufacturing business.
