BARCLAYS : DOUBLES YOUR MONEY IN JANUARY WITH *BARCLAYS BLUE REWARDS*

• Barclays will kick off 2016 by doubling its monthly cash rewards for all those who sign up to Barclays Blue Rewards in January
• The offer is open to new customers who switch to Barclays in January and join Blue Rewards as well as existing Barclays current account customers who have not yet signed up to the Blue Rewards programme

• New joiners can receive up to £32 for the month of January paid in to their digital Rewards Wallet

Barclays has today announced that it will double the cash rewards available through the Barclays Blue Rewards programme in the month of January, giving away a possible £32 for each eligible customer.

The offer is open to new Barclays current account customers who open an account or complete a switch to us and sign up to the Blue Rewards programme between 1 and 31 January 2016.

It is also open to existing Barclays current account customers who have not yet signed up to Barclays Blue Rewards providing they opt into the programme between the 1 and 31 January 2016.

Those who join Barclays Blue Rewards for the first time in January can also earn double cash back when shopping with our Smartspend partners, including earning up to 14% cash back for customers who book travel with Expedia between 1st-31st January 2016.

Barclays Blue Rewards detail

Monthly Fee:

• Customers pay a £3 monthly fee from their chosen Barclays current account

Monthly Loyalty Reward:

• All customers who sign up to the programme receive a £7 monthly loyalty reward paid into their digital Rewards Wallet (all customers therefore receive a net cash gain of £4 per month)

Mortgage Loyalty Reward:

• All new and existing residential mortgage customers will receive £5 per month for the term of the mortgage

Home Insurance Loyalty Reward:

• Home insurance customers who take out or renew their buildings, contents, combined or Finer Home insurance cover with Barclays, and are part of Blue Rewards already or join within 30 days of their policy start date will receive up to £3 per month

Loan Loyalty Reward (NEW):

• All new and existing loan customers will receive £1 per month. Customers will only be eligible for the Loan Loyalty Reward on one loan at any one time and provided loan repayments are kept up to date

Enhanced Cashback:

• Barclays Blue Rewards will allow customers to earn an additional 1% cashback when booking with Expedia, as well as other SmartSpend shopping partners such as Bootsand Debenhams
