BAE Systems has chosen Parsons Corporation to modernize the Alternative Nitrogen Ester Manufacturing Facility at the Radford Armaments Plant (RFAAP).

The two-year, $15.4 million contract is to prepare preliminary designs for the facility.

BAE Systems is underlining its commitment to modernizing World War II-era facilities to improve safety, operational efficiency and the environment.

Parsons, already involved at RFAAP, will help provide innovative energy capabilities for the U.S. Army.
