Avex Group Holdings Inc. Proposes Management Changes

Avex Group Holdings Inc. announced that at the meeting of its Board of Directors held on May 11, 2016, the company made the following informal decisions regarding a Representative Director and a Director, who will retire as of the close of the 29th general meeting of shareholders scheduled on June 24, 2016, and new prospective Directors, who will be appointed at the 29th general meeting of shareholders. Shigekazu Takeuchi, Representative Director, CFO, will retire as Representative Director. Mr. Takeuchi will retire as a Director due to the expiration of his term as of the close of the 29th general meeting of shareholders scheduled for June 24, 2016. Tomohiro Toyama, Outside Director and Yuichi Sato, Outside Director will retire as Directors due to the expiration of their term as of the close of the 29th general meeting of shareholders scheduled for June 24, 2016. Richard Blackstone, Kiichiro Kobayashi, Hiroyuki Ando are new prospective Directors. Richard is currently a CEO, Blackstone Entertainment and Corporate Executive of the company. Kiichiro is currently a Professor, Keio Business School. Hiroyuki Ando is a full-time consultant at Keio Marunouchi City Campus.
