Airbus Ends Talks With Atos on Potential Acquisition of Cybersecurity Unit

Airbus said it has ended discussion with Atos on the potential acquisition of the company's big-data and security business, or BDS.

After careful consideration of all aspects involving the potential transaction, the company has decided it will no longer pursue discussions, the European plane maker said Tuesday.

Atos is analyzing the situation and actively evaluating strategic alternatives that will take into consideration the sovereign imperatives of the French state, the French IT group said.
