Aramark reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended April 01, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was USD 3,860.53 million compared to USD 2,819.69 million a year ago. Net income was USD 35.75 million compared to net loss of USD 77.58 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.14 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of USD 0.3 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.14 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of USD 0.3 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was USD 7,808.79 million compared to USD 5,563.48 million a year ago. Net income was USD 78.36 million compared to net loss of USD 158.82 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.31 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of USD 0.63 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.3 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of USD 0.63 a year ago.
