(MT Newswires) -- Lisa Su, CEO of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), talks about new so-called accelerator chips that can run artificial intelligence software faster than competing products. The company introduced a new range called MI300 at an event in California: the MI300 incorporates HBM3 high-bandwidth memory, which Su says offers significant performance advantages, particularly for AI model inference and training. She discussed collaboration with partners and customers, including Microsoft, Oracle and Meta, as well as OEM manufacturers such as Dell, Lenovo and Supermicro.
