The Company is primarily focused on special situation investment opportunities in the small to middle-market capitalization sectors in the United Kingdom or Europe. The Company seeks to acquire direct and/or indirect interests in special situation investment opportunities that have an element of distress, dislocation, dysfunction or other special situation attributes that it perceives to be undervalued. The Company is also focused on possible special situation opportunities anywhere in the world if it believes there is an opportunity to generate added value for shareholders. The Company's interest in a potential investment may range from a minority position of approximately 100% ownership and the interest may be either quoted or unquoted. It may invest in shares or acquire assets of a relevant business, joint ventures, equity derivatives, contracts for differences, or other equity or debt-related securities.
