NEW YORK, April 5 (Reuters) - Federal Reserve Governor Michelle Bowman said on Friday the U.S. central bank does not take any special message from gold price movements relative to other indicators or commodities.

“We look at a variety of commodities” when weighing policy choices, and when it comes to gold, “yes we are thinking about it."

"I don’t know that we’re thinking about it more strongly than any other indicator at this point,” Bowman told a gathering in New York. (Reporting by Michael S. Derby Editing by Chris Reese)
