Feb 28 (Reuters) - Morgan Stanley is evaluating whether to offer spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to its customers for its brokerage platform, CoinDesk reported on Wednesday.

The Wall Street giant has been weighing offering spot bitcoin ETFs to clients since the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved their introduction in the United States in January, the report said, citing people familiar with the matter.

Earlier last month, the U.S. SEC approved 11 spot bitcoin ETFs, including BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust and Grayscale Bitcoin Trust, among others, after a decade-long tussle with the digital asset industry.
